The Iron Dome missile defense system intercepted on Friday two rockets fired from the Gaza Strip over the southern city of Ashkelon.
Rocket sirens blared in Ashkelon, Kibbutz Zikim and other towns near the border with the Gaza Strip.
No injuries or damage to property were reported.
