Gantz authorizes a call up of 5,000 IDF reserve soldiers

Defense Minister Benny Gantz on Tuesday authorized the IDF to call up 5,000 reserve troops as part of the military's preparedness for further violence.
The troops will be deployed in different functions along the southern border and in support of the activities of the Home Front Command responsible for the safety of the civilian population.
