The Health Ministry said since midnight Monday at least 213 people tested positive for COVID-19 in Israel.
The ministry said that after more than 41,500 tests had been conducted, the infection rate now stands at 0.5%.
At least 21 patients are in serious condition, of whom 15 are ventilated. One more patient has died from the illness over the past day, bringing the overall death toll in the country to 6,430.
