Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit said on Tuesday that new emergency regulations allowing the Shin Bet security agency to track carriers of the coronavirus using technological means were meant to save lives.
"Among the many measures taken, today the government has approved new emergency regulations that authorize the Shin Bet to utilize technological means on the behalf of the Health Ministry to stop the spread of the coronavirus," said Mandelblit. "These regulations are meant to save lives. Simple as That."
