Abu Ibrahim al-Qurashi, the current leader of the jihadist group Islamic State of Iraq has been arrested, according to a report by Sky News Arabia, citing the Iraqi National Intelligence Service.
Al-Qurashi was named the leader of the ISIS terrorist organization in October 2019, less than a week after the death of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, who killed himself as U.S. special forces closed in on his compound in north-west Syria.
