Education Minister Yoav Galant wrote on Twitter that "the allegations that the increase in infection rate over the last two days is related to the opening of the education system is a complete lie."
According to Galant, "An analysis of the data presented by the Health Ministry shows that the increase in infection rate began on August 20, after the peak of the summer vacation, and at the summer schools."
