Comptroller says Shin Bet phone tracking 'not efficient'

Ynet|
State Comptroller Matanyahu Englman on Wednesday criticized the governments' intention to once again track the phones of verified COVID cases using the Shin Bet domestic security agency.
"The Shin Bet's tracking was not found to be efficient enough, many went into isolation unnecessarily," said the comptroller.
"In a report I published about a year ago... It turned out that only about 3.5% of the people found to be in contact with patients, and therefore were required to go into isolation, eventually turned out to be verified COVID cases themselves."
