High Court rejects Regev and Mark's petition against Judicial Selection Committee

The High Court outright rejected the petition of Minister Miri Regev and MK Osnat Mark - both from the Likud - against the decision of the governemnt's Judicial Selection Committee to advance Jerusalem Magistrate's Judge Abbas Assi to the city district court.
The two demanded the annulment of the committee's decisions, as it convened even though the two boycotted the meeting along with MK Zvi Hauser.
