NSC head proposes to extend closure until Monday

The head of Israel's National Security Council, Meir Ben-Shabat, recommended at the meeting of the government's coronavirus Cabinet on Tuesday, to extend the nationwide closure until Monday, October 19.
According to the NSC's estimations, the changes needed to begin Israel's exit strategy from the closure will not be met before October 20. Defense Minister Benny Gantz proposed extending the closure only until Friday, October 17.
