Egyptian mediators arrive in Gaza for Israel-Hamas ceasefire talks

A delegation of senior Egyptian intelligence officials, led by the Palestinian portfolio holder, Ahmad Abd al-Halek, entered the Gaza Strip on Friday to continue negotiations with the Hamas leadership on the conditions of the truce with Israel.
The Egyptian delegation will also visit Tel Aviv and Ramallah to reach an understanding between Hamas, the Palestinian Authority and Israel.
