Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit on Tuesday clarified that even after the conflict of interest agreement between the state and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is formulated and signed, he will still be able to serve as Israeli leader.
According to sources, Netanyahu feared that Mandelblit would act to remove him from the position of prime minister and therefore reacted so blatantly against the attorney general's involvement in formulating the conflicts of interest agreement.
