An IDF soldier suffered critical injuries from a shot fired to his head in a Jordan Valley military base.
The circumstances of the incident are unknown and the military said all avenues are being investigated.
The soldier was found by his comrades who believed his wounds were caused by stone throwing but upon his arrival to hospital doctors determined he had been shot.
The soldiers family has been informed, the military spokesperson said.
