Officer wounded during riot in Jerusalem

Gilad Cohen|
An officer from the police's cavalry unit on Thursday was wounded in the face by a rock thrown at him during violent riots near the Nablus Gate in Jerusalem.
The event started as a far-right demonstration against Arab violence targeting Jews in the capital and later escalated into a confrontation between demonstrators and Arab aggressors. Rioters hurled rocks and Molotov cocktails at police and Border Patrol officers as they tried dispersing the crowd.
