Ninety-year-old Samicha Diab from Tamra has passed away Sunday night at Rambam Medical Center in Haifa due to complications of coronavirus.
The hospital said that Diab's condition, who suffered from a number of underlying health issues, deteriorated throughout the evening and she passed away a few hours later.
Mrs. Diab is Israel's 105th victim of the virus since the country's first COVID-19-related fatality was recorded last month.
