Coronavirus czar Prof. Nachman Ash, told the ministerial coronavirus Cabinet that there has been a moderate increase in the number of coronavirus patients in serious condition, as well as in the number of patients requiring respiratory aid.
The forecast presented to the ministers shows that if the current trend continues, the daily number of verified patients will rise to 2,600, and the number of patients in serious condition will rise to 420 daily.
The report also states that within a week, the number of daily patients will rise to 3,700 - and in three weeks the number will rise to 7,400 verified patients a day and 1,200 patients in critical condition.
