Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon has spoken with his Palestinian counterpart Shukri Bishara on the economic impact of coronavirus.
The two discussed joint steps by Israel and the Palestinians to prevent the outbreak of the virus becoming more serious.
Bishara called on Israel to release tax revenue collected on behalf of the Palestinaian Authority that was withheld due to payments to the families of jailed terrorists.
He said the PA needed help to fight the spread of the virus and the monies would allow the Palestinian healthcare system to receive the financial resources it needs.
