The Hamas terror group governing the Gaza Strip announced that they regard the decision on Friday by ICC Chief Prosecutor Fatou Bensouda that she is prepared to begin an investigation into alleged war crimes in the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem, a step in the right direction that will reveal the wrong done to the Palestinian people, that Israel was attempting to keep secret.
"This is an important recognition that needs practical steps to be taken to bring Israel to justice for its crimes against the Palestinians," Hamas officials said.
