President Reuven Rivlin welcomed the UAE government delegation that arrived in Israel earlier Tuesday, calling their visit "a new era of peace in the Middle East."
"The Etihad plane at Ben-Gurion Airport and the agreements signed today with UAE ministers are the dawning of a new era of peace in the Middle East," Rivlin said on Twitter. "Inshallah (God willing) more will follow and we will live in peace and cooperation with all our neighbors. Welcome to Israel!"
