President Reuven Rivlin on Monday morning eulogized former Sephardi Chief Rabbi of Israel Eliyahu Bakshi-Doron, who has passed away aged 79 due to complications of coronavirus.
"Rabbi Bakshi-Doron was a tremendously wise student with a deep sense of responsibility for all of Israel,” said Rivlin. “A rabbi, a father and a guide to the Israeli communities within the country and abroad.”
