Knesset Speaker and Likud MK Yariv Levin condemned the demonstration in Caesarea on Tuesday night, in which supporters of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu protested in front of the home of the bereaved Farkash family, who lost a son during the Second Lebanon War in 2006.
"The protesters' shouts directed at the Farkash family deserve all condemnation," Levin said. "This is not the way of the Likud movement, nor the way of the right-wing camp."
The demonstrators protested and threw slanders at the Farkash family for allowing left-wing activists to demonstrate from the roof of their house, near Netanyahu's house.
