Official charged for accepting bribes in exchange for isolation exemptions

A 24-year-old employee at the Health Ministry was charged Wednesday for accepting bribes in exchange for providing people with exemptions from coronavirus isolation protocols.
According to the indictment filed by the Southern District Attorney's Office, the resident of Rahat gave 11 exemptions from isolation for several hundreds of shekels.
