Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed Wednesday that the media is delegitimizing those who attended a rally in his support.
The event Tuesday was held under the banner "protesting the coup" and came after Netanyahu was indicted in three corruption charges and claimed the cases were bogus.
Posting a clip on his Facebook page, Netanyahu claimed the media handpicked certain demonstrators who could be de-legitimized who made controversial statements.
The prime minister called for his supporters to work within the law and avoid incitement and violence and said he respects the courts and is confident justice will prevail.
