Israel newly confirmed coronavirus cases continue to drop

The Health Ministry on Saturday said the newly confirmed coronavirus cases on Friday numbered 2,386 after 84,286 tests conducted, indicating a 2.9% positivity rate.
There are 626 people hospitalized in serious condition with 214 on ventilators.
After 12 people died from complications of COVID-19 on Friday and seven more on Saturday, the death toll since the start of the pandemic has 5,988.
