Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a joint statement with U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin that "Iran continues to support terrorism on five continents and wants to achieve nuclear weapons. It continues to call for the elimination of the State of Israel and works for this purpose."
Netanyahu added: "I will not allow Iran to reach a nuclear capability in order to fulfill its murderous desire to destroy Israel."
