Finance Minister Israel Katz said on Monday that as of Tuesday of next week, more shopping centers will be reopened after they were closed by the lockdown imposed to stop the spread of coronavirus.
Katz waved aside concerns by health officials that morbidity rates were on the rise and Israel was in danger of a third nation-wide lockdown if the government would continue to ignore its own exit strategy for a careful reopening.
"This talk is pointless," the minister said.
