Blue and White leader Benny Gantz praised on Monday the merger between the left-wing parties Labor-Gesher and Meretz earlier in the day.
"I'm glad things worked out," said Gantz, "Amir Peretz, Orly Levy-Abekasis and Nitzan Horowitz have acted responsibly and made a decision that will strengthen them all. It's only right for a left-wing party to stand with Blue and White in the center political stage."
