Ex-AG says no connection between PM's case and Mandelblit recording

Former Attorney General Shai Nitzan referred to the recordings published on Keshet news on Tuesday, in which Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit is heard slamming Nitzan for his part in a case against Mandelblit.
"The decision regarding Mandelblit's case was made in March 2017, years before the decisions were made in the Prime Minister's cases, and there is no connection between the two," said Nitzan. "An examination of the decisions in the prime minister's cases also shows that this is a clearly unfounded claim, since a significant part of the recommendations in Netanyahu's cases were rejected by Mandelblit. There are factors, the motives of which are clear to all, that continue to blossom into the air completely unfounded conspiracy theories, which completely contradict the facts. "
