Defense and Justice Minister Benny Gantz announced Wednesday he has decided to appoint Adv. Amit Isman as acting State Attorney.
"Tonight I am taking another step for the sake of the rule of law, in an effort to make it a significant step towards the stability of the judiciary and the rule of law. The State of Israel must function - the legal system must function and no one will prevent it from functioning," said Gantz in a statement.
