PA vows to continue pay-for-slay policy despite tax revenue cuts

Palestinian Coordination of Civil Affairs Minister Hussein al-Sheikh said on Monday the Authority will continue to pay families of terrorists killed or wounded by Israeli forces despite Security Cabinet's Sunday decision to deduct NIS 150 million from the tax money that Israel transfers to the Palestinian Authority.
"[The decision] is another step of escalation meant to impose a financial blockade on us," said al-Sheikh. "We will continue to pay stipends to the families of the martyrs and the wounded - no matter what's the cost."
