Israel to increase virus relief fund to NIS 90 billion, ease criteria

Israel is increasing its national relief fund for businesses hit by the coronavirus to NIS 90 billion (approx. $26 billion) and will ease the eligibility criteria for receiving aid.
Businesses will now qualify for state assistance if they witness a 40% downturn in earnings, as opposed to the previous criteria of 50%.
