The Health Ministry reported Friday morning that 815 coronavirus tests out of more than 40,000 conducted in the previous 24 hours came back positive, making 2.1% of all tests.
There are currently 7,997 coronavirus carriers across Israel, among them 293 in serious condition and 127 patients on ventilators.
Since the onset of the pandemic in Israel, 2,706 people have died of COVID-19.
