Health Minister Yuli Edelstein said on Tuesday that the government plans to do away with weekend lockdowns as a tool to help to the spread of coronavirus.
"There is no proof this [weekend lockdowns] help anyone, all they are is a burden to the public," Edelstein said during a visit to Holon's Wolfson Medical Center.
