Leader of the Religious Zionist Party, Bezalel Smotrich, lambasted the police's decision to cancel the Flag March that was supposed to take place in Jerusalem this coming Thursday.
"It is a shameful surrender to terrorism and Hamas' threats," said Smotrich. "The police commissioner is unable to protect marchers on the streets of Jerusalem, just like he can't protect the Jewish residents of Lod, Ramla and Acre. Now he is also making [Hamas leader] Yahya Sinwar the one who runs Jerusalem."
