Moscow: 'Israel refused thousands of Russians from entering Israel'

The Russian Embassy in Israel responded on Wednesday to the delay of several Israelis at a Moscow airport, saying "5,771 Russian tourists were not allowed to enter Israel in 2019. Every day about 20 Russian tourists arriving in Israel on an organized trip are detained and sent back to Russia. The Russian side does not respond to relevant Israeli authorities' decisions."
Earlier, dozens of Israelis who landed on El Al flight at Domodedovo Airport in Moscow were detained and were not allowed to enter Russia.
