Coronavirus czar Prof. Ronni Gamzu is in quarantine after coming into contact with a person confirmed to have the virus.
According to a statement from Gamzu's office, the person is a member of the task force managed by the professor.
The statement said Ganzu will continue to oversee Israel's efforts to stem the spread of the virus from quarantine.
