Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday said he would enforce lockdown restrictions in ultra-Orthodox areas but hoped for cooperation with local leadership.
Speaking in the meeting of the Likud Knesset faction Netanyahu said most of the Haredi community observes health directives but some are still defiant.
"This community lives in crowded conditions, with no ability to hold online lessons but morbidity is not as low as it should be," he said.
