All of Tel Aviv's beaches were closed on Monday until further notice due to the high levels of pollution in the water.
According to Tel Aviv's municipality, the rain that poured into the sea in recent days contains large concentrations of dirt and grime from the city's streets, consequently raising the level of pollution, making the water unsafe.
