Naama Issachar's mother, Yaffa Issachar, arrived in Moscow on Thursday morning for her daughter's coart appeal. The 26-year-old was sentenced to seven years in prison for drug offenses last month.
"I hope they release her today," said Yaffa. "I'm cleansing myself of speculations, but I'm hopeful."
Issachar was jailed after 9.7 grams of marijuana were found in her suitcase during an interim flight through Moscow.
