Sixteen pro-Iran fighters were killed Thursday in strikes "probably" carried out by Israeli planes in eastern Syria, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (OSDH) reported.
OSDH director Rami Abdel Rahmane told AFP that the fighters killed belonged to "Iraqi factions loyal to Iran"
