President Reuven Rivlin expressed great concern as a wave of wildfires tore through the country on Friday.
"I follow the updates on the fire spreading in several hotspots in the country with concern, and my heart goes out to the citizens who were evacuated from their homes at this time of fear and stress," Rivlin said.
"I send my support out to you, our firefighters. I see how hard you are fighting to stop the raging fire and pray that you will fully extinguish the fire soon."
