Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with leaders of the Arab sector on Sunday and vowed to tackle the widespread violence in Arab towns and villages.
"We want to devise an all-encompassing plan to in the war against crime and violence," Netanyahu said at the meeting. "This is a very aggressive war, but victory is within our reach. We cannot allow a situation in which people in our country are afraid to walk down the street. It makes your life bitter. We will use all our power, our intellect, our means, our police, our intelligence and our technology. We will stop groups of criminals who undermine the localities and then, of course, the rest of the population as well."
