Leifer's defense attorney victims could've objected to sex acts

|Updated:
Suspected pedophile Malka Leifer's Defense Attorney Nick Kaufman, said during the extradition hearing on Monday that he does not believe the girls who accused Leifer statutory rape, "did not know they could object" to acts that were committed on them.
"We heard a lot about the background of the complainants and the sheltered environment in which they grew up," said Kaufman during the hearing. "In my opinion, it is simply unlikely that they did not know what a sexual act was and did not know that they had the right to object to it."
