Belarus president Alexander Lukashenko said the Holocaust of the Belarus people was usurped by the Jews who claimed they were the victims of the Nazis.
In a speech marking Belarus independence on Monday, Lukashenko said "I've already said Nazi crimes on our land must be investigated, It was the Holocaust of the people of Belarus. The Jews proved it was and the entire world bows to them and is afraid to single them out. We have been kind and patient, not wanting to insult them and were insulted ourselves," Lukashenko said.
