Following the governemnt's approval of the new, less stringent coronavirus restrictions on Saturday, the third round of reliefs came into effect Sunday.
As per the new restrictions, students in grades 7-10 will return to school in green and yellow localities. Students who are fully inoculated and are in possession of a Green Pass will be able to return to universities and colleges albeit under certain conditions.
In restaurants, seating within the business will only be allowed for those with a Green Pass, up to 75% of the restaurant's maximum customer occupancy, and no more than a hundred people. Seating outside will also be restricted to up to a hundred people, even for those without a Green Pass. Entry into bars will only be allowed to customers with a Green Pass.
Venues and event halls will also be able to host only those with a Green Pass, and no more then 50% of their maximum customer occupancy, while the maximum number of participants must not exceed 300 people. Cultural and sports event will be able to accommodate up to 500 people in a closed building, and up to 750 people in an open area.
In a hall or stadium with more than 10,000 seats, 1,000 people will be allowed to enter in a closed building and up to 1,500 in an open space.
