Israel strikes deal to procure COVID vaccines from Moderna until end of 2022

Just hours after signing a deal with Pfizer Inc. to purchase millions of doses of its COVID-19 vaccine, Israel also signed on Monday an agreement to purchase vaccines from U.S. pharma giant Moderna.
Israel will purchase about 7.2 million vaccine doses from the company at a cost of about half a billion shekels.
