The Health Ministry on Sunday said that after 26,000 coronavirus tests conducted on Saturday, 2,596 tests returned a positive result indicating a 10% positivity rate.
There are currently 1,162 people in serious condition being treated in hospitals with 298 of them on ventilators.
After 23 people succumbed to the virus on Saturday, the tally of Israeli fatalities reached 4,745.
