Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi said Thursday during a press conference with his German counterpart Heiko Maass in Berlin that Israel has moved on "from annexation to normalization".
"It is very clear that the Israeli government has moved on from the prospect of annexation to normalization," said Ashkenazi, "We have left the door open for our neighbors and now it is their decision whether to join. What happened with the UAE is an example that progress can only be achieved through dialogue," he added.
