Coronavirus czar Prof. Ronni Gamzu recommends lifting the closure on the cities of Rechasim, Modi'in Illit and Beitar Illit, as well as on the Matsdorf neighborhood in Jerusalem due to a decrease in the infection rate in these areas.
"According to the criteria that led to the closure and roadblocks in those cities, certain required reliefs can be allowed even though there is a fear of latent infection." he said. "Precisely because of this, it is of paramount importance to continue to adhere to the guidelines and restrictions and especially to prevent the opening of the education system without approval, and to continue to be tested."
