Police in Santa Rosa, California are investigating the vandalism of a fountain dedicated to Holocaust survivors, a local newspaper reports.
According to the Press Democrat, the fountain at Santa Rosa Memorial Park - which was created for Lillian and Emil Judd, two survivors who were "beloved" members of the local Jewish community - was toppled and left in pieces earlier this week.
Police are investigating whether the incident was a hate crime, the report said.
