The IDF on Saturday foiled an attempted infiltration across the border from Lebanon into northern Israel. The forces opened fire at a squad.
The military says the unidentified group had placed what were believed to be explosive devices close to the border indicating they were intending to inflitrate Israel to commit an act of terror near the northern town of Metullah.
The IDF said the group was not affiliated with the Iran backed Hezbollah group.
